Our Values
Imago Dei*
We believe EVERY person is created in the image of the Divine (and we honor the name by which you call them).
*Please see our blog for more info.
Hope & Love
We do this work because we have hope that the world can be better than it is. We hope for you to experience freedom and love in every dimension of who you are.
Be You
We do not believe in policing gender, bodies, abilities, or faith. We will not bring those practices into our work, nor will we allow people in our community spaces to police others.
"I now see how owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do."

What kind of therapy do you offer?
I can work with you on short-term, goal-oriented therapy such as:
addressing a specific issue
Career Counseling
working on a specific story
reading a difficult book together (such as The Wounded Heart by Dr. Dan Allender, The Body Keeps the Score by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk)
processing transitions during a big move or difficult changes (including immigration, moving, loss of relationship, miscarriage)
Or we can engage in long-term, relational, trauma-focused therapy. Issues can include:
anxiety
depression
grief
racial identity
sexual abuse
spiritual abuse
trauma & PTSD
women’s issues
What we do in therapy will be up to you. We can work on everyday issues with work, relationships, and in dealing with the stresses of the day. We can work on trauma and working on your childhood/family of origin stories. Or we can do both.
EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). For more information, please go to emdria.org or read this.
How do we get started?
First, please contact me for a free 15-minute consultation.
If after speaking with me, you would like to book your first appointment, please let me know, and I will also send necessary paperwork.
I would ask that you spend at least 2-3 sessions with me before we commit to a weekly therapeutic relationship.
While I currently only offer teletherapy, in the future we can schedule in-person intensive sessions.
I ask that you set aside time and space for therapy, as much as possible. A private, comfortable space with a reliable internet connection will be best. You may want to keep tissues nearby as well.
Other things I should know?
Teletherapy is only offered to residents in Washington State. Sessions and all paperwork will be conducted using HIPAA-compliant software.
I am an independent practitioner working in association with the Shelterwood Collective. All Shelterwood Collective practitioners are independent provider businesses. All services rendered are representative of each individual practitioner’s license, independent business, and practice style. We share values and community in the spirit of providing ethical, professional healing services. I accept Premera, Lifewise, First Choice Health, Cigna & Evernorth insurances.
